We handle your data with care and process it in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Here you can read which data we use, why, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible

Queen Tarzi B.V., Pesetaweg 97, 2153 PJ Nieuw Vennep, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce no. 81939698, is responsible for processing your personal data. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@queentarzi.com.

Which data, what for and on what basis

Processing and delivering your order
We use your name, address, email address, phone number and order details to process your order and deliver it to you. This is necessary to perform our contract with you. We keep this data for 7 years, because it is also part of our accounts and the law requires us to keep those that long.

Payment and accounting
We use your billing and payment details for the payment and our accounts. This is a legal obligation, and we keep this data for 7 years because of the tax retention requirement.

Customer service, returns and complaints
When you contact us, we use your contact details, your messages and any photos you send to handle your question, return or complaint. This is necessary to perform our contract with you. We keep this data for up to 2 years after it has been handled.

Newsletter and SMS
If you sign up for our newsletter or SMS, we use your email address, phone number, first name and your click and purchase behaviour to send you messages that suit you. We only do this with your consent. We keep this data until you unsubscribe.

Emails after a purchase
If you have bought something from us, we may email you about similar products. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in informing customers about products that go with their purchase. You can always unsubscribe from these emails via the link at the bottom of the email. We keep this data until you unsubscribe.

Analytics and advertising through cookies
With analytics and marketing cookies we collect your cookie ID, IP address and browsing behaviour to improve our website and show relevant ads. We only do this with your consent. We keep this data for up to 14 months.

Competitions and events
If you take part in a competition or event, we use your name, contact details and social media name to run it. We do this with your consent. We keep this data until 6 months after the competition or event has ended.

Deleting your data
Every year we check which data has reached its retention period and delete or anonymise it. If you want us to delete your data sooner, email hello@queentarzi.com. Data we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, is only deleted once the legal period has ended.

We don't use your data for automated decisions with legal effects for you, and we never sell your data.

Who we share data with

We only share what is necessary, with parties that work on our behalf and with whom we have a data processing agreement:

  • Webshop: Shopify
  • Email and SMS marketing: Klaviyo
  • Payments: Shopify Payments, Mollie or Klarna
  • Shipping: MyParcel
  • Analytics and advertising: Google, Meta, TikTok, Triple Whale, Snapchat

Some of these parties process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States or Canada. For this we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, an adequacy decision of the European Commission or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, so that your data is properly protected.

Cookies

We always place functional cookies, because the webshop doesn't work without them. We only place analytics and marketing cookies if you agree to them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time via cookie settings.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data. You can also object, have the processing restricted, request your data in a usable file and withdraw consent you have given. Send your request to hello@queentarzi.com. We reply within one month. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly via the link at the bottom of every email.

Don't agree with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or with the privacy regulator in the country where you live. In Belgium that is the Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

Security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as an encrypted connection (SSL), limited staff access and two-factor authentication on our systems.

Under 16

If you are under 16, you need permission from a parent or guardian to sign up for the newsletter or a competition.

Changes

We may update this statement if our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
